ARTIST STATEMENT

As a prolific artist who engages the soul in the spirit of creativity. My work takes a critical view of social, political and cultural issues, I began my artistic path in 2018, self-study of the European art masters. This study resulted in a new series of works on canvas, “Madam” & “Celebrity”. The subject features female portraits in acrylic on 24X30 canvases with gilded gold finished frames. In early 2020, Covid became present and I decided to go back where I started at a very young age, painting on canvas. I assured myself that this will be my new path forward. I spent 18 months in the studio, the results is these 2 new painting series. Answer in my life always seemed to be answered,, keeping my focus and staying optimistic.

Twenty years before this period, I worked in fused glass, most sculpture projects were commissioned. It was a great experience and many great experiences working a medium, quite challenges with many achievements.

Now I have a very optimistic outlook for a successful future, painting on canvas. More art exhibits are being scheduled now and into the future. As my art gets more public exposure and a level to notoriety. I look up to a promising future and success is appreciated by my audience and art collectors.
