The Celebrity Series by Gary Word is a continuing series and to this day, is his most popular and most requested style of art.
Gary accepts commission requests that start with photographs that are interpreted into hand-painted acrylic on canvas. These “Pop Art” style paintings bring the subject to life.
In 2020, he began adding a second layer that includes a painted pixel pattern which is a series of squares using the same colors found in the portrait’s first layer. The concept was “love at first sight” and has since become his single most popular commission request.
